This past week has been a really fun one for us- I only had classes on Monday morning. So, we've been able to spend a lot of time hanging out all together. Joseph has definitely been enjoying the extra attention, such as reading books with mommy.
Or wrestling uncle Chad.
This year for Thanksgiving, we had a small, traditional dinner. Turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, corn, rolls, and some pies- it was all so very delicious.
With Joseph's first real Thanksgiving dinner, we found out that he really, enjoys stuffing. And I mean really, enjoyed it.
Joseph also had his first pumpkin pie. He was very excited about the whip cream.
Another fun thing this week was we taught Joseph how to give eskimo kisses. However, when you ask him for an eskimo kiss, you can only say "eskimo". If you say "eskimo kiss", he will rub noses with you and then give your nose an open mouth kiss. It only took once to learn that lesson.
Over this week, Joseph has found a new spot to sit around upstairs. We're not exactly sure what his appeal for the perch is, but he definitely enjoys it.
We've also had some really nice weather, so Joseph and I went outside to play in the leaves.
As quickly as I could rake up the leaves, Joseph went to run through them and scatter them around.
Joseph loved playing in the leaves.
On a lighter note, Joseph was sitting in the family room playing with some of his toys and an Apple iPad mini commercial came up on the tv (see the video below). Joseph suddenly stopped playing with his toys and stared at the tv. He quickly jumped and walked over to the tv and tried to play the piano on the iPad mini. He then had a very confused look on his face trying to figure out why he couldn't make it work- it was really cute.
