Well, Jodie and I have kind of had a quiet Halloween- no trick-or-treaters. However, it also providers a perfect opportunity to update the blog. So, Jodie decided to make a Jack-o-lantern pizza today. It started out with orange food coloring with the dough in a pumpkin shape.
Combined with pizza sauce colored black and some well placed toppings, you get this.
After being in the oven, the end result looked a little scarier.
Anyway, it was a fun little treat for Halloween; although, I doubt that Shaun would want to eat this anymore than Jodie's Halloween spaghetti dinner from two years ago.So, while Jodie was making the pizza, I carved our pumpkin. So, here I am starting to clean out our pumpkin.
Normally, Jodie does this job- she loves cleaning out the pumpkins. Unfortunately for me, she was busy making the pizza.
This is the part the I enjoy, designing. I saw someone who made a Tiki Jack-o-lantern and I wanted to try and do something similar. So, here starts the process.
Starting out with a few cuts.
