Inside Fun

Over the past few days, we've been dealing with some sicknesses around our house.  Our battles all started with Joseph getting croup early, early Wednesday morning.  Ever since then, we've been working to keep the kids separated to protect Maile.  So far, we've been very fortunate- Joseph is making a quick recovery and Maile only has a cold.  Needless to say, we've been spending a lot of time indoors the past few days and here are some pictures of our "inside fun".

Joseph has been able to watch a number of movies.  It has been a lot of fun exposing him to more of the classic Disney movies.  Two of his favorites are Jungle Book and Peter Pan.  Before going to bed tonight, he sang the "Bear Necessities".  He's also been playing Captain Hook and "tick-tock Croc" with some of his toys.  Captain Hook even calls out to Smee and says, "Row to the ship! Row to the ship!"

I've been fortunate enough to spend some extra time working from home this week too.  It was especially useful after a long night in the ER with Joseph.

Sometimes, we get a little creative with our "inside fun", courtesy of Joseph's imagination.  Such was the case for a wagon train that he helped direct tonight.

He even picked out mommy's hat.

All the "inside fun" has made for a happy little boy.
