A week of firsts

Last week was a very interesting week, lots of firsts for Joseph.  We started off the week by getting our first two teeth.  On Sunday, his first tooth broke through and the second one broke through the next day.  Needless to say, Joseph was rather grumpy the beginning of the week.  However, at least we got it over in one fail swoop. 

On Friday morning, we got our first black eye.  Joseph has been very interested in trying to walk lately, but still lacking the skill needed to walk.  So, Friday morning, Joseph and mommy were playing in the living room and Joseph was cruising along the TV stand.  He then reaches out to take a step and losses his balance.  Jodie quickly caught him before he hit the ground, but he still manage to nick the edge of the TV stand.  Thus, Joseph got his first black eye.

 He was quite the trooper- within 5 minutes he was up and at it again.

Another first this week is he is starting to walk with his truck.

And we quickly learned how to bulldoze our toys when it was time to cleanup for bed.

 We're still not exactly the best driver, but we've started making some sound effects while we are driving and starting to get the hang of it.
