To this...
Plus, it lowers the temperature by 30-40 degrees. Monsoons are pretty awesome.Last weekend, we also got to go visit Grandma and Grandpa Brems in Boulder, UT. On our way in, we had to stop and take a picture of Hog's Backbone. Not a good picture of the cliffs off to the sides of the road, but a good picture of the road.
Over looking the bustling metropolis of Boulder, UT.
We weren't able to spend too long at Grandma and Grandpa Brems' house, but we had a lot of fun while we were there. We got to help around the house a little and spend some time with them. Our first night, Jodie and Grandma made salsa and enchiladas.
For those of you who don't know, I love our camera that we got. We got some cool pictures...

The second night we made a fire and roasted hot dogs. Here's a picture of us that Jodie took.
I had the lucky job of starting the fire- which proved a little more difficult than usual because the wood had been waterlogged by the rain.
Eventually, we got the fire started though and began roasting hot dogs.
Grandpa and I were in charge of roasting the hot dogs.
They were delicious and we had a great time.
Grandma and Jodie together on Sunday before we said our goodbyes.
We all got together for one last picture.
After taking the pictures, we drove the ten hours to get back home. It was a long drive, but it was very worth it to spend the time with Grandma and Grandpa Brems.
Amazing pictures of the humming birds. Wow.
ReplyDeleteSo fun that you drove up to see your grandparents. The few times I've met them (over the last 28 years or so...) they really struck me as amazing and wonderful people. Glad to see that they are doing well. Thanks for a great post!
Love all the pictures! Isn't Boulder the best? Just like the Freshman 15 that happens to people's weight when they start college, I call a Boulder trip the Boulder 5... lol
ReplyDeleteHope you are all doing well!
